Conclusions: Previous studies connect the onset of AMN to non-specific infections followed by
episode of high fever. AMN presented in connection with COVID-19 infection or vaccination
raises a new etiological aspect. It is important to think about an acute macular neuroretinopathy
in case of a positive history of COVID-19 infection, vaccination and acute paracentral or central
scotoma. It is also essential to recognize the structural changes of the retina in these cases.
