examined eyes and total resolution in 38.46% of the eyes. Final visual acuity was significantly
effected only by starting visual acuity (p<0,0001), fluid reabsorbtion, age, gender, and disease
duration had no significant impact on it. Choroidal neovascularisation was observed in 3 eyes,
and no other ocular or systemic side effect occured.
Conclusion: Navigated SMLT seems to be a safe and effective option to increase visual acuity
in CSCR patients. In our patient group original visual acuity was the most important factor
predicting favorable result.
